i mean, teachnically he had it on when gollum jumped him at the end...which is hobbit battle, but a battle nonetheless

He used it when he was in battle and hid from the ring wraiths I believe it's fellowship that he does and again in two towers

He got stabbed, he didn't really fight. He used the ring to hide in every fight he had. He never attacked anyone while wearing the ring

He wears the ring when the wraiths attack the hobbits at Weathertop, when the Uruks are attacking at Amon Hen and he is trying to escape Boromir, and again in Mount Doom when he decides to claim the ring and fights Gollum.
