They can, and will leave us. We only love them so much because they are what we make of them. They never disagree with us.

I don't care about them not disagreeing but I agree with the first part. My most cherished inanimate objects are those that evoke emotion or trigger certain memories or feelings. And then when they have long histories, being imbued with more of those emotional associations, they become even more special. And I know many of them will die but they are still valued.

Or maybe for the memories they represent....

Unless its a pen.

You drop it.

Its at chicago

Someone tell this to thieves

My first car died so....

@piromysl My first car died so....

I'm sorry to hear that. Nothing will ever be the same as your first car. Even if it's better. It won't replace the memories.

A lot less messier than relationships. Humans will actually worship inanimate objects like a car. That is their religion. They possess us. I've seen it in action. Spoiler. They will die and leave us e.g. repossession, theft, etc. I think it's allcalled animism.

My pet rock ran away

I have my bear and he has been with with since I was a day old. I'm 30 now and plan to still have him when I'm 80 (if I make that)

Well someone that died cant leave so it just keep them in the freezer

Penis & testicles

The IRS would like to collect taxes on your objects.

And yet my mom got rid of my teddy bear decades ago and I am still bitter.

Yes but they can break
