If the universe is truly infinite, somewhere out there there's a world exactly the same as ours in every way except they pronounce "baguette" differently. amirite?

You are speaking of probabilities, not guarantees. So, maybe there's another world out there just like ours, but maybe there's not. You won't know until you get there.

And here on earth we have Beaufort, NC and Beaufort, SC. In NC it's BO-fert and in SC it's Bew-ferd and sailors know which port you're referring to by how you pronounce it.

They are pronouncing it correctly. It's us who are pronouncing it incorrectly.
