I've upscaled a few videos for fun using an AI software. Basically, upscaling can't create details that weren't there, it only enhances or enlarges while preserving detail of everything that is already there. The results are usually better if the source video is decent, so the better quality of the original, the larger the difference in quality will be with the upscale. So upscaling the bigfoot footage wouldn't reveal anything. But damn, 8k big ass big foot.
