+30 There are likely some living 70-year-olds who will still be alive in 2070. amirite?

Nah. We've kinda reached the peak of advanced ageing now. Rather than some people living for longer and longer, we now seem to be at a point where more people live better for longer. Plus the zombies are coming in 2027.

Someone who is 70 now would be 120 in 2070. The oldest fully documented person on record lived to the age of 122.

Possible but barring any major advances in medicine not likely. A 70-year-old would be 119; the oldest documented person died at age 122, the second oldest at 119.

Hence the *some Also I know it's recklessly optimistic but I kinda expect some of the most major medical advances to happen might take place over the next 50 years.

No one who is 70 now wants to still be alive 50 years from now.
