Austrian here: Since we don't actually call them „Wiener" here, I don't think we do.
They probably don't think about it much considering how much better the sausages are when you actually go there. Same with the schnitzels
In Austria they are called "Frankfurter", after the City in Germany.
In Germany we have Frankfurter and Wiener
I would think there would be many who take advantage of that with tourists.
