You don't become a less picky eater growing up, as an adult you could simply choose not to buy it and only eat food that you like. amirite?

Yeah, I hated Brussel Sprouts as a kid. Nasty little cabbages.

Then as an adult I learned not to boil them and instead roast them with garlic and parmesan. Much better.

@miraclerandy Yeah, I hated Brussel Sprouts as a kid. Nasty little cabbages. Then as an adult I learned not to boil them and...

I always wanted to like brussel sprouts. I only tried them as a kid and the taste was the most disgusting food item ive ever put in my mouth. I got angry over it and cried about it. I have not been able to try them as an adult because for no reason my intestines freak out at roughage.

Generally, people do become less picky eaters

Nope,that is absolutely not it.

A. Children don't like bitter tases like brussel sprouts, coffee or beer. As you get older your taste buds evolve.

B. Aquired taste. You do get used to flavours and eventually like them.

C. You are often more willing to try foods as a grown up.

Yeah like everyone else that's a big no. You can tell that most adults eat a wider variety of food then they did as children proving that they are less picky. It was a nice try though but not really
