I always try to not wear a hat until I'm away from the barber, no matter how bad the cut is

I'm a barber and I only feel this way if they ask me to style it first, haha. A lot of guys are just hat guys. I've been growing my hair so I'm the beanie guy. We get it.

I wear a hat going into the barber because my hair's a mess. And then I have a hat I don't want to just carry around with me, so it goes back on my head. But my next trip out, I probably won't be wearing a hat because my hair's not a mess. The barber doesn't get to see that though, because I'm probably not going back to the barber, because I just got my hair cut. Maybe I'll text my barber with a photo of me the next time I leave my house without a hat on...
