Pizza parties in grade school have conditioned younger working class adults to be satiated with cheap celebrations instead of proper compensation, amirite?

I don't know dude ... I'd prefere a company pizza party over a generic "Good job".

I mean, I don't think working class adults are satisfied with pizza parties instead of compensation...seems like a leap to say it is caused by grade school pizza parties too...like seems like getting a special food becomes much less of a reward once you get your driver's license and a car and can go buy what you want. If it conditioned you that way it is interesting.

You mean other than their paychecks?

Yes. A lot of people are underpaid for what they do and I feel like we've been conditioned to accept parties instead of pay

I dunno, I support workers but this is a stretch

@Vindicare-jjl I dunno, I support workers but this is a stretch

Seems to me a lot of companies would rather throw parties than give proper compensation

@Vindicare-jjl Yeah but that has nothing to do with pizza parties in elementary

I just feel like we've been conditioned to think that pizza parties are a sufficient compensation. I can't speak from a company/management position

Ok. Well I'm saying most people aren't conned into thinking pizza makes up for not afforded their mortgage
