Parents yell at you for your voicemail box being full when you're saving their old voicemails in case they spontaneously die, amirite?

This hit... weird.

My mother passed 7 years ago due to COPD. It was a slow battle, and due to being young at the time I didn't handle it well. "Mom wasn't gonna die" and all that. So I didn't plan to save anything.

When she passed I realized I had I voice-mail from her from about a month earlier...

"Hey Ambivalent, it's mom. It's Tuesday, about 12:30 - I just wanted to say thanks for all your help this morning. I really appreciate it. Alright, I'll see you later. I love you. Bye-bye."

I actually remember receiving that call. I was working and helping a customer out at the time, and the only reason I didn't delete it was because another customer came in as I was listening to it, and I didn't get around to deleting it. I don't think I've gone more than a month without replaying it.

Your parents seem weird, my mom has a voicemail I left her from like 12 years ago saved on her phone, and I try to save every voicemail my parents leave

You can download audio files to a hard-drive

Do not delete them!!!!! From experience
