If humanity develops FTL travel and insanely powerful telescopes, we could in theory travel more than 66 million lightyears away to see and study the dinosaurs. amirite?

Yennoe I wonder if light 66 million light years away would be like pictures or like old times movies when we observe it…. Like if we are far enough away and the light continually streams to us, could we in theory watch our history of the planet like a movie?

Imagine if aliens do have powerful telescopes and have spotted our planet from that kind of distance. Maybe they saw the dinosaurs and decided we're not worth visiting

FTL = Faster than light? From a physical point of view that is not possible, it's forbidden by Einstein's Relativity
