I disagree. The most valuable thing they can give their children is good taste. Good taste doesn't need to be expensive.
They said inexpensive though, not bad.
That is a good one, but coming from someone who grew up with their parents feeding them trash, I would say good eating habits would have been something I really appreciated.
A few months ago I was in the grocery aisle when I saw a child looking at the Kanzi apples.
"Look how pretty they are, let's buy those!"
Mom scrunches her nose at the price. "No, I don't like how they taste."
They cost thrice as much as a regular variety, so I understand. I just found the interaction too funny.
