Ooooh no, you get way more, especially if breastfeeding, you don't have to get out of bed and you can fall asleep while they're doing it.

Disagree- my son sleeps 12 hours a night with a 2 hour nap mid day. AC went out at home- had to get a hotel room. Little man, mom and me - almost no sleep.

Every child is different! Mine decided they wanted to sleep in their own beds at 2/3, they came and went as they wished but they mainly settled on their own! Sometimes they'll come and have a sleep but there's no pressure. Every family has their own style.

12 hours a night at 3 months? Either you have an abnormally good sleeper or you're misremembering because your brain wants you to have more kids lol. Either way, there's no "agree" or "disagree" to be had. It's not an argument - you can't sleep with your son. Other people sleep fine with their kids. It's your experience, not everyone's.

Said by someone who thinks their child is the only personality type, or who hasn't yet actually raised an infant...
