+263 Nowadays, all people care about is the catchy tune of a song, not the sentimental value of it. amirite?

Is that wrong though? Can I not like a song purely for the fact that it is catchy? Yes, I am fully aware that you said "all."

Not 'all' people.

If a song was really sentimental, but not catchy at all, I wouldn't listen to it.

This is basically a repost. People care about the musical elements of the song but not the context of the song. We get it. You think you've unlocked the great secret that is the message and underlying purpose of the song, and we congratulate you. Now, why don't you just go back to listening to that "Best of Both Worlds" album you've been dying to rediscover?

"Well the Duck walked up to the lemonade stand and he said to the man running the stand, "Hey! Got any grapes?"

"The man said 'No, we just sell lemonade, but it's cold and it's fresh and it's all homemade!'"
