Sleepovers are awesome and you'll continue to have them into adulthood, amirite?

I'm 19 and I'm having a sleep over! My friend just broke up with her boyfriend so she's gunna crash on my futon because she doesn't want to be alone in her apartment.

At that point, they're called raves.

Yes, but I stopped calling them sleepovers in like middle school.

Dear god do I hate sleepovers. I can't be the only person in the world who actually //likes// sleeping and would much rather do that than listen to a bunch of teenage girls who are pretending to be tipsy on scotch stolen from the liquor cabinet interrogate each other about who they like, oh come on you //have// to like //someone//, omgod shut up you like //him//, i know right he is so cute, hey you know what would be a great idea, going on facebook at four o'clock in the morning and giggling at every single damn one of the pictures of him flashing pretend gang signs at house parties!!!
Yeah, I'll take complete silence over that any night.

And then you always have the awkward goodbye the next morning when everyone is still in their pajamas...

What kind of sleepovers do you go to? I'm a 16, almost 17 year old girl and none of mine have ever been anything like that...

Don't get me wrong, my friends are my favorite people ever... until we have a sleepover. Then they somehow see it as their obligation to act like the stereotypical girls who go to sleepovers in TV shows and movies (PILLOW FIGHT! omg let's paint our nails and give each other makeovers) that they've ever seen and that I've ever hated, ever.

Me and my friends just watch netflix and play video games all night, and eat.

You left out the part where you all get naked and have a pillow fight.

My best friend and I's sleepovers are very boring. We watch our favorite movies (the same ones, every time: Mean Girls, Blades of Glory, Juno, and When A Stranger Calls) and fall asleep at like 11.

Except when you're grown up the sleepovers are fun le sexytime sleepovers. ;)

If by sleepover you mean drink a bottle of vodka and pass out on the porch, then yes.

Somehow all of my friends are great separately, but as soon as 3 of us are together they both hate me. So I just have one over at a time, which makes the other hate me. My friends are haters...
