It wouldn't be worse than it, it would be about the same (the exception of this though is if you are both talking on facebook, that way you could just look it up)

same here it is easier to recognize faces although I have heard that if you keep repeating the name in your head over and over again you can remember it better. I also find it annoying when you have to introduce them and you're all like "and this is .. um".

Hahaha. True. At that point in time, I start laughing as if something funny happened... and just ask the people involved to introduce themselves to one another. This is then followed by slew of conversations where I attempt to insert the forgotten name in every place possible (to falsely claim I remembered it...). Oh the lies!
