Luck surpasses wisdom and intelligence. amirite?
by Anonymous3 years ago
You need wisdom and intelligence to put yourself in the position to get lucky.

Then they have talent in the areas that got them there. Smart doesnt always relate to the ability to retain and present knowledge. Talent can relate to human communication and how to do it in certain ways.

Getting lucky shouldn't always be about getting laid. If you're lucky then the very luck might get you to that position.
by Anonymous3 years ago
Depends on the circumstances, getting laid anyone can get lucky but with business and money you have to have knowledge and calculated risk to get lucky!
by Anonymous3 years ago
And what about those who easily make it through, seeing whom most of us become awestruck. The ones who even without knowledge make it to the other end.
by Anonymous3 years ago
That's not very many people. Most make it "to the other end" because they were determined and worked hard. Even those who caught lucky breaks and made it had to work hard to keep it. I don't see many people in this world (excluding people born into wealthy/powerful families) who got lucky exclusively and faired well. Even most lottery winners go broke, they don't work to or have to know how to keep it

Luck runs out, intelligence and wisdom doesn't.
by Anonymous3 years ago
It does but time passes at an equal rate for the three
by Anonymous3 years ago
In the longrun
No

Luck without wisdom and intelligence is like mortar without the bricks. Sure, you can stack a few bricks (luck) together but to really build something you need (the mortar) wisdom and intelligence.
by Anonymous3 years ago
True but what if luck gets you mortar too
by Anonymous3 years ago
It doesn't. You can't build a life with luck alone. Although you can trade some wisdom and intelligence for hard work and patience.
by Anonymous3 years ago
Luck can come in the form of an advisor who has the wisdom or intelligence. Lucky me and my mortar and bricks.
by Anonymous3 years ago
That's a game of long odds though isn't it.
by Anonymous3 years ago
Idk the fact I won the sperm race already makes me lucky as hell. Life is itself evolved using luck.
by Anonymous3 years ago
But not only luck is my point.
by Anonymous3 years ago
Nah, I think with enough wisdom AKA information and intellect, you could calculate every outcome ever. Luck wouldn't even be a thing
by Anonymous3 years ago
If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.
by Anonymous3 years ago
nah trust, luck may give you a head start but without any real effort you're gonna be stuck in that same spot whilst everyone else moves forward.
