We all had more freedom when phones had a cord. amirite?
by Anonymous2 years ago
Meh. You gain freedom and you lose freedom. I remember occasions when I couldn't leave the house for fear of missing an important phone call.

Yeah, but how common was that?
by Anonymous2 years ago
Common enough to be a source of frustration. Without an easy way to communicate, you have to make plans to communicate. And planning itself requires good communication.

You clearly never met 13 year old me, with 98% of an mp3 download complete, when my mom picked up the phone. Freedom. HA!

If I could have a GPS in my car that worked as well as my iPhone, I would really consider going back to the flip phone at least.

Umm....no. like what would possess you to even think this?
by Anonymous2 years ago
I'm assuming because there were times where absolutely no one could get into contact with you if that's what you wanted

This took me a second, but I really like it.

I hate how true this is.
