+136 The person who laid the first ever turd would have been disgusted & relieved at the same, amirite?

Oh got it, that person didn't lay a turd as a baby, they laid their first turd when they were old enough to remember it and register their feelings. Makes sense.

It probably came as a surprise but the ability to produce a stool must have had some evolutionary advantage otherwise the trait would have died out.

Agree. There would have been an unexplained feeling in the stomach, and again as it travelled through the body until it was finally laid. Depending on the diet at the time it may not have been a traditionally looking steamer like we see today

Scientists can only speculate on what the stool may have looked like as sadly few fossils remain but certainly it would have altered the culture of palaeolithic man immensely, perhaps as much as the invention of the wheel.

***plop and a sigh of relief*** *sniffs in disgust and looks down* "Aghhhhhhhhhh." *runs away*

I'm guessing it was thrown at someone shortly afterwards.

Was the action of "throw" named at that point?

He might have died of suffocation
