Actually no because it's air pressure that enforces the seal.
If you took a vacuum sealed package of, say, peach rings into outer space, you'd be able to pull the bag to expand the space inside it, without having to open the bag.

No it would not, unless you enter another planet's atmosphere with the lid still closed
