How do you figure? Wolverine is an Xman, and Deadpool was once an Avenger.
I would consider them Anti-Heroes. Deadpool and Wolverine definitely do good and can be Heroic they kill and aren't most of the time heroic (I would put Wolverine closer to Hero than Deadpool though).

Let's just take the MCU as an example.
All the hero's killed someone/thing at some point. Multiple times.
