Hitting on the same sex is a better example for a couple reasons. 1. The faux & fiends crowd thinks your damned because you're interested in the same sex. 2. If you don't hit on that cute guy you'll never know if despite the straight vibes he's actually gay, if he's actually open to giving it a try, or if he's so interested in you that he's self-conciously trying to not look too interested.
