I"m a straight man. I've been arguing equal rights for people with different (sliding scale) sexuality since I first understood the 14th AM. and the concept of equality. What's great is my brain doesn't understand it But I don't have to cause it's none of my business what people's sexuality is. I wouldn't disown my children over it and I'd sure goddamn support them probably even harder cause puritanism is alive and well and puritanism never had much tolerance for behavior they disagreed with. Wouldn't change the fact that men produce semen and women produce egg cells.

Ive been told once you identify as a woman, that's it no matter what, you're a woman and a woman is the mother. Even if they supplied the sperm in the first place. I think this part is over doing it with the identity politics. Other than oversimplified views like that i fully agree with you. They should be respected and be able to live their lives how they want.

If somehow.I offend someone because I didn't understand some distinction in their sexuality It's not hard to say "I have tried, and I'm simply out of touch especially given how fast the world goes by I mean no disrespect." It's the same though because I'm Disability level crazy. Unless I mention it I wouldn't expect strangers to know what's going on with me.
