Yeah there aren't really "meaningful" acting roles i've seen him in. He mostly does cartoon stuff but on film. Pirates of the Caribbean too could have easily been a cartoon and his acting reflects that. I don't even remember if I've ever seen him sad or any emotion other than confused or happy in his films. Even if he did portray sadness it's more for comedy.
