Yeah. And depending on how much it's blended, this is why you can get more calories drinking a strawberry smoothie than eating the same amount of strawberries, and why you will absorb more fat from peanut butter than you will from eating peanuts. Otherwise some parts of the peanuts will pass through undigested.

isn't all food that isn't chewed, that will be chewed, "pre-chewed"?
You don't chew a smoothies so I don't know if this actually makes sense.
