No it doesn't, most people with more knowledge aren't shot by guns because they arent as careless, it's the ones that think they know shoot themselves while cleaning it or leave a loaded one to be grabbed by a child.

Yes and also people who don't know about or have guns can't defend theirselves from a gunman who is trying to shoot them, raising their chances of being shot in such situations

Not saying you're wrong, or the guy who replied to you, but I think they just mean bc they're less likely to be around guns at all. But you're totally right, people should have training and be knowledgeable and safe so that likelihood doesn't increase just bc there are guns around.
