Haha true but even in rural areas the land you need to park your car on is not really free. Even your own driveway has value and costs money to maintain over time. Like all of the "free" roads we drive on. In the cities those costs are higher for sure.
You can park somewhere and pay nothing to anyone for anything, like a park or something and leave.
There's a cinema conplex near me that provides free parking. And anywhere I turn off my engine I park, and that's usually free too.
