You shouldn't be able to play music through a speaker in an apartment, amirite?

A tv has speakers. Can I watch tv. The problem isn't speakers it's volume. Have you talked to the neighbor?

Perfect point.

Apartments should have good noise isolation. If it's not speakers, there's still the problem of other sounds.

This should be the actual opinion. Of course this wouldn't be unpopular at all.

This is definitely unpopular, but because it's ridiculous. Let's rephrase it: if you can't afford to live in a detached house, you're not allowed to listen to music out loud.

I understand but I know that when I use headphones or earbuds for a while I just feel completely sick of having my head in devices with music and only music in my ear. So it's nice having on speaker because you can pretty much listen to it and still appreciate it, without getting sick.

Playing stuff out loud on a device is fine. The problem is connecting it to an outside speaker device that amplifies the sound, which goes through the walls.

It's an other experience of music and you can cook or do sport with it ?
Of course it's a better quality than just putting music on your phone

Shut up Karen

aren't noise complaints already a thing?
by Anonymous2 years ago
So from your replies your opinion isn't that speakers shouldn't be allowed but that loud music shouldn't be allowed. Can you not complain to your superintendent about the noise level being ridiculous?
by Anonymous2 years ago
You shouldnt be able to live in apartments if you have such an issue with it....

Get your own place if you don't want a wall's difference of noise in between you. Can't pair 4 pairs of earbuds to one device when i have 3 ppl over

Yes it is totally practical for everyone to buy a house. /s
by Anonymous2 years ago
Okay then deal w/ the fact you have neighbors; if they're playing at or under the legal limit, that's on you; over? file a complaint
