Anyone who has tasted fondant knows why this is an unpopular opinion.

I agree with you, I don't understand the hate, I'm a picky eater generally but love the texture and taste of fondant. It's kinda like mayonnaise I guess, as in if you eat too much all at once it's disgusting. But just a bit of it is not bad at all.
