There will always be more movies for Halloween than for Christmas. amirite?
by Anonymous1 year ago
I don't have evidence to back up my thinking but you are probably very very wrong on this. I saw a stat that said hallmark has made 300 plus Christmas movies since 2009 and that's just hallmark. Without hallmark I'd say it's close but still Christmas winning it

The entire horror genre expands your options by hundreds more movies.

I don't think you realize how many Christmas movies are out there. Not all horror movies are Halloween movies, but they can be Christmas movies.

Probably about the same, most Christmas movies are so terrible though, they don't even get aired
by Anonymous1 year ago
Most Xmas movies are limited to just the seasonal genre. For Halloween, you have movies specific to the holiday, and the entire horror genre.

Well that's debatable, horror movies are not halloween movies, halloween movies are movies that are set during the holiday just like Christmas movies
by Anonymous1 year ago
Many of the most popular Halloween movies didn't originate from the holiday. Psycho, Nightmare on Elm Street, Child‘s Play, It; even classic monsters like The Invisible Man, Dracula, or Frankenstein. They aren't about Halloween, but everyone watches them for Halloween.

Yea, but that doesn't make them halloween movies
by Anonymous1 year ago
Those aren't Halloween movies. Those are horror movies.
Squares and rectangles man.

Why would you include all of the horror genre as Halloween movie?
by Anonymous1 year ago
Any scary movie fits with Halloween.
by Anonymous1 year ago
No it doesn't. That's like saying any movie that has happiness or is based around giving is a Christmas movie.
by Anonymous1 year ago
Krampus, Black Christmas, Gremlins are all Christmas movies.
