I don't have evidence to back up my thinking but you are probably very very wrong on this. I saw a stat that said hallmark has made 300 plus Christmas movies since 2009 and that's just hallmark. Without hallmark I'd say it's close but still Christmas winning it

@Boknows12 The entire horror genre expands your options by hundreds more movies.

I don't think you realize how many Christmas movies are out there. Not all horror movies are Halloween movies, but they can be Christmas movies.

Probably about the same, most Christmas movies are so terrible though, they don't even get aired

Most Xmas movies are limited to just the seasonal genre. For Halloween, you have movies specific to the holiday, and the entire horror genre.

@Boknows12 Any scary movie fits with Halloween.

Krampus, Black Christmas, Gremlins are all Christmas movies.

No it doesn't. That's like saying any movie that has happiness or is based around giving is a Christmas movie.

Well that's debatable, horror movies are not halloween movies, halloween movies are movies that are set during the holiday just like Christmas movies

Many of the most popular Halloween movies didn't originate from the holiday. Psycho, Nightmare on Elm Street, Child‘s Play, It; even classic monsters like The Invisible Man, Dracula, or Frankenstein. They aren't about Halloween, but everyone watches them for Halloween.
