In what terms are you defining the said superiority/inferiority?

by Anonymous 1 year ago

By people that are awesome at what they do and people that define and fulfill their dreams as opposed to people that suck at being nice. Sure you could throw a line in there as to what they do specifically but some people are just lammme.

The results were striking: a 15-point IQ advantage translated into a 21% greater chance of survival. For example, a person with an IQ of 115 was 21% more likely to be alive at age 76 than a person with an IQ of 100 (the average for the general population). IQ determine pretty much everything in our society. I know that old Hawking quote of IQ. But if you dive into it the numbers don't lie, for every IQ point above 100 you make nearly $1,200 more a year as well.

No. Just no. Oh god, you must be either very naive or a terrible person to think so. I'm hoping for the former and that you'll grow up soon.

Can you elaborate? What would make a person determined to follow his goals equal or not superior to one who is too lazy or indulges in short term pleasures and is a generally irresponsible person?

It is true. Most people are mediocre and are terrified of their lack of specialness. Some people are great and most are not. I do think that society is shifting towadrs this collective blob of sameness that ostracizes any one thing that is unique or discreet in respect to itself. All people must be respected is not true. Respected is doled in a meritocractic way and will always be. Life is unfair and not everyone is endowed or develops similar skills or gifts.

I see this sentiment expressed a lot, that most people are deficient but some people are "great". Out of curiosity, are one of the great ones?

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Notm. I am not one of the greats. Its life. I still love me though. I try not to compare myself to others and try to evaluate me with me.

by Anonymous 1 year ago

I don't think so. There are socially superior people's, and military/government superiors and such, but all people should be treated equally or as they deserve

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Yeah, that's what was said. Equality is impossible.

Nah, with 8 billion people on the planet, there are definitely people who are superior to you and me in any way, shape, and form. They might not be as good as I am in being lazy, but is that really an attribute we want to describe superiority to? It's 100% certain that some people are just better than others.

I would say black people are superior in not (or rarely) getting skin cancer, that has nothing to do with the individual.

And most of these judgments can be predicted by factors beyond peoples control. To the individual this observation is useless beyond the obvious fact that effort is "virtuous". Didn't he have this figured out 4000 years ago?

So there are inferior and superior individuals but you're positive they all average out to equal between the races? Seems statistically impossible but maybe I'm just inferior at math.

Well native people are probably considered inferior. Not because of their specifically their race, or culture, and whatnot. But because other countries had established technology and government systems in place. Meanwhile natives lived practically like tribal cavemen, and probably unchanged for a thousand years or so. No progression. So that's inferior. People can try to hate me all they want, but I don't care. I'm right. If Europe at the time, was living it like 2022, but couldn't figure out a boat for the longest time for some reason, and landed in America for the first time, to discover another branch of people in America encountering the same problem and so didn't leave the continent either, but they weren't tribal and at a level of only 1822, and living like the Amish basically. Everyone would still make fun of them.
