Generally speaking, the higher quality the clothing the less frequently it's worn. amirite?

I feel like its based more on cost than quality. Ill wear a good quality shirt and jeans for a few years, but im only wearing a suit for special occassions

That's completely the opposite.
High quality stuff is durable and can be worn all the time.
Low quality stuff isn't, and breaks easily and quickly.
