This is not an unpopular opinion. South Park had an episode where a goat was mistaken for Stevie Nicks at a USO show. My local radio DJs bring it up practically every time they talk about Stevie Nicks.

Stevie and Fleetwood Mac was/is chick music back in the day all the girls wanted to be her so you had to put up with listening to her if you where hoping to get any action.

I mean having a unique weird thing to your music is what made people famous. I like Tom Waits and hes even in the rock and roll hall of fame, and he is a very competent and talented musician, but his whole 'thing' is sounding kind of terrible. I remember a friend and I listening to an old Bob Dylan record my grandma had once and he started laughing, and goes, I like his songs but god he sounds awful. And he does.
