podcasts are better for channels built on personality but its not really annoying or even something ive noticed

I agree. I think YouTubers could maybe upload a short 5 min clip of the main things discussed on their podcasts and that would solve the issue.

So dont watch them. Low cost low effort videos are usually used to help fund more expensive and time consuming ones
