+151 Technically, it is allowed to take another person's groceries at a store since they do not own them yet. amirite?

No it's not. They have a superior property claim to them than you, just not superior to the store

Technically yes it is it's just like taking someone's spot that they're just about to claim in a parking lot. It's an asshole move but still legal

By your own logic, since they do not own them yet, they are not even another person's… Just start filling carts and abandoning them to test the theory. My guess is that someone will invite you to a little chat really quick.

I believe there's an episode of "Impractical Jokers" where they see how many items they can take from someone's shopping cart without getting noticed xD

Yeah but they probably confront the "victim" afterwards and have a good laugh.

it will be like destroying someones sand castle on the beach, the sand is not their's, but the effort is. and so for the groceries cart, they put effort into collecting them in one cart.
