Kraft singles is not even cheese. It is a cheese product, not quite the same thing. And to put it in chili, well, I'll just say that everyone has their own taste, questionable as it may be.
I can see the appeal. It definitely is the best cheese for a burger as it melts so well, has that oozy texture, a cheesy tang. Even high class burgers it isn't right if they put on slices of cheddar, it doesn't work. Same principle with chilli.
I bet someone is gunna be like if the chili is true chili it will be loaded with so much flavor nothing else is needed. If you're having cheap American chili then of course you'll need to load it with cheese. puffs on pipe
I must respectfully and completely disagree.

Yep and yet it is good for some things, don't be a cheese or cheese product snob.
No it's not.

Why would you put cheese on chilli?
Because it's good?

Kraft singles taste gross. Get Black Diamond cheese slices instead.
Shredded Velveeta will blow your mind.
I don't know why anyone would do that. I'm glad you like it.
