I imagine that if a pet gets a headache, they'd likely be grumpy towards their human owner. Just like when they have other ailments that affect them and their personality changes, I suspect a headache would do the same.

My cat has had headaches before and I've been able to tell. That "ears back, eyes half closed, head pushed against her paws or another surface, irritability. I know for sure she had one but I had no idea how to help her I felt awful.
