I don't think this is unpopular tbh. Alot of the old fans left because of this

The reason for this decline was thar they were planning to leave for the military back in 2020, itself. But then Dynamite happened, they became too big for their own good. Government delayed their service and put them in an overly stressed out position. They also started to feel a musical sludge while being overworked and ran out of ideas.A complete burnout. They also wanted to create some solo music but didn't get the chance. Now they are finally releasing solo songs and will leave for the military after yhe releases. Will come back in 2025 as a group. Their last comeback was in Korean btw. It was Yet To Come , also two other non-MV songs Run BTS and For Youth. Also with other non-MV solo songs. About JK's tatoos, they are still scorned upon but he doesn't really care and gets even more from time to time, so does Jimin. Actually, now everyone also have a matching '7' friendship tattoo.

I haven't liked anything they have done since 2020, but I do like their solo stuff.

Their solo stuff has always been hella good. I haven't liked anything they've done since DNA, if I'm being honest. Fake Love wasn't bad, but everything before Fake Love and DNA was absolutely phenomenal.

What is BTS

by Anonymous 1 year ago

South Korea pop group, very famous in SK and the States. Funny thing, I think their name translates to Kevlar Bulletproof Vest Boys, or something like that.

South Korean pop group.

They suck anyways

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Well... You're in luck. BTS broke up. No more BTS. No more problem

by Anonymous 1 year ago

They're still around. Quick Google search.

South Korea has 2 year *mandatory* military service that must be served before the age of 28. BTS members were given an extension (instead of being drafted immediately at age 18) - but they still must serve. If they are still together, it is only temporary. Their oldest member is now 28

by Anonymous 1 year ago

There is a big difference between them doing military service and them breaking up. Why do you think they broke up just because they are serving?

by Anonymous 1 year ago

It's not uncommon for a group to still promote whilst a member is in the military. I have no idea if BTS will go down that road but other groups have.

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Perhaps... Fyi... Their ages are: 29, 29, 28, 28, 26, 26, 25 BTS has already started they will all serve their mandatory military service. Even if the government relaxes the age requirements there are 4 of the 7 members who are at "Max age" right now and two more who will also be at Max age in the next 18 months.

I'm aware of this. But they're still a group. Like the other person said, some groups still promote even when a member is in the military. EXO did it when Xiumin was in the military.

What the hell is even going on here

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Oh, you mean you liked them before they started making REAL money?

by Anonymous 1 year ago

It's not even about the money, tbh. Other kpop groups make hella money, but their style and sound hasn't changed. BTS used to be 50/50 with rap and vocals. I hardly hear any rap anymore. I just miss the sound of their old stuff.

BTS? Behind The Scene? Behind the scene of what?

by Anonymous 1 year ago

You are clearly very casual fan of them so just drop them and that's the end of your problem.
