what it they make $3 less from the video than what the product cost? but the product also had shipping costs... but also the person who made the video found $10 in the pocket when they put on their winter coat for the first time this season... HMMMMMMMM

They make the money back through ads on videos. Mr. Beast isn't spending his own money. It's money from brands or loans. He gets a ton of views and sponsors and makes the money back and then more.

Depends what the product is, but ultimately it's so that people can better understand an items' qualities. Gives you, the consumer, a better idea on how to spend your money. Wouldn't be necessary if companies better exposed their products instead, but then they wouldn't get as many sales.

Exactly. Torture tests are great if you're someone who's clumsy or uses devices in harsh conditions

Wait till you learn about destructive analasys... Companies will break their own products for testing. I dont see what wrong with somone reviewing a product.

Would you say the same for channels like Project Farm who torture test products and compare to other products?

Id be more willing to buy an item iv seen torture tested and survived abuse than a similar item that hadnt been torture tested. My moneys worth means alot to me and id like to have the peace of mind knowing that the products i bought are built to last and wont crap out after 3 months of use.

Yep. With phones, before I upgrade I always check Jerryrigeverything and other torture tests to get an idea of the durability

You answered it in your question. "they want to destroy".

If only you could get paid for all those views........

Also, the companies usually send those for free just for the advertising.
