It's also worth backing up your point from a statistical perspective: one human's individual experiences in a world which has had billions of humans in it is basically statistically worthless. Many shared experiences are required for any kind of validity

I do this often, I vet the potential of possible engagements from the limited experiences I've had with things. I also suspect this tendency probably often triggers me to wall myself off to a lot of potential experiences that could change the course of my life for the better. As an attempt to speak honestly, it does prompt me to consider how often fixed ideas or unanalyzed and possibly harmful biases play an almost superstitious role in how I govern myself.

Yeah, our schools need to do a better job teaching the logical fallacies, and other critical thinking skills.

I believe this. Unfortunately there is a segment of the population that believes the teachers want to convince kids into changing their gender. One person I know says this all the time. I know a few teachers, they don't do this. I saw on our towns Facebook page a woman was spouting a bunch of this stuff too. A bunch of people disagreed with her.

Incidentally, this is a personal opinion of mine that I feel is backed many times over. Schools suck.

I agree. I think making sure you research your opinions and base it in fact is important. I also think you should search for multiple sources to try your hardest to eliminate confirmation bias.

No you shouldn't, but it's human nature.
