The Nostalgia Critic isn't that bad, amirite?

He was good at a point. The failure of Demo Reel leading to him adding tons of terrible sketches pretttich ruined Nostelgia Critic along with all the awfulness related to Channel Awesome just makes him not palatable.

You said yourself. He is loud. He is goofy. His reviews are mostly nitpicks. It sounds like you know exactly why he gets the hate he sometimes gets. "Lightweight comedy" as you put it might be your cup of tea, but some of us really dont like that.

I can't stand his videos anymore - But I have watched hours of them and I can imagine having a blast talking to him, seems like a genuinely good guy.

He's been consistent over the years, expanding from 10 minute videos to fully fledged analysis videos and some sketches with extra characters for good measure.

I overall like the format of their movie reviews and like the characters that they plan on them. I get that Doug Walker has been an asshole in the past and might still be but idk. A lot of people in the entertainment industry are major Assholes so I wasn't even surprised when all that came out. At the end of the day, I'll watch a review of theirs here and there and I usually enjoy it but it's not like my favorite channel or even one I watch all the time

The first few seasons weren't bad at all but after a while he "got too big" and kind of ran out of funnily bad material. Also I never liked those permanent actors around him.
