+117 I think stealing from banks/bank robberies/theft from corporate-non franchised stores is completely fine as long as no one is hurt/fired because of it. amirite?

They know how much stuff is getting stolen and they will just increase their prices to cover those risks or they will pay higher insurance premium that will also affect prices. At the end, you are stealing from other customers, not from the business itself.

Just because nobody might have been physically hurt doesn't mean there isn't significant psychological damage done. From a bank teller's perspective, if you have someone who is willing to slip a note across the table saying "we're here to rob this bank, follow along and nobody will be hurt", how willing are they to actually hurt someone physically and how close are they to doing so? It will take some people serious therapy just to go back to work and even then they will be nervous interacting with every customer because who's to say they're not the next one who's going to slide a note across the table? TL;DR, yes you are nuts, good for your girlfriend for ACTUALLY having a moral compass.

yes i would definitely love being in jail

by Anonymous 1 year ago

it would be really funny if you got robbed ngl. and no you dont have a set or morals, just off these few sentences i can tell you live by "rules for thee but not me"

by Anonymous 1 year ago

It does actually sound pretty fun to get robbed. Beats going through the normal 9-5.

Money doesnt come out of nowhere, if the bank replaces a million that was taken, now theres a million extra than needed in circulation... Ever heard of inflation?

by Anonymous 1 year ago

banks dont have millions its not gta mate if you robbed one now you would get 20 - 60k if your lucky so if you clean it properly it barley makes a diference

If they got arrested for theft then it wasn't successful

by Anonymous 1 year ago

and if they are on vice talking about the crime i imagine they arent "at large." But I did cheer them on while I learned about it. Very interesting series if ya have any time to check it out

Is this relative? Can people in extreme poverty (such as those in poor countries) steal from you? And if that is ok as well, why not donate everything you have to charity?

by Anonymous 1 year ago

finaly someone said it i completley agree you should watch russel manser he is a ex con and he used to rob banks from australia

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Only the wealthy get away with things like theft and genocide and crimes against humanity.

by Anonymous 1 year ago

You definitely spend atleast 2 hours a day on youtube shorts

by Anonymous 1 year ago

That doesn't make any sense. I was simply stating a fact.

by Anonymous 1 year ago

It gets baked into their insurance rates which gets baked into prices. Losses from theft is calculated into costs/pricing and location selection

Stealing, as most of the other crimes, isn't bad just because it hurts people. The fact of stealing itself is harmful for the society, no matter the victim, because it breaks the basic principes of coexisting.

I can see where you're coming from. Honestly, big corporations just aren't losing much when someone shoplifts a small item. But if everyone decided to start doing it, it would become an issue. We must have rules.

by Anonymous 1 year ago

I agree, obviously I dont want it to be like GTA out there, but I find it almost inspiring when a group of people, down on their luck and out of options coordinate to take down a flagship of capitalism.

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Stealing is fine, period! Even if it's from poor people. The important thing is that you REALLY want what someone else has!

by Anonymous 1 year ago

sounds like the framework of capitalism baby!

What is your preferred economic system?

by Anonymous 1 year ago

I mean I'm not losing sleep over hearing someone robbing a bank but that doesn't make it ok

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Uh oh, did antiwork just leak into here?

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Agree. I love upsetting corporate bootlickers by saying this. I love shoplifting ❤️ Just cause it's fun. And when I worked at a grocery store I saw people doing it all the time and did nothing

by Anonymous 1 year ago

I sincerely hope you get caught one day. You aren't stealing from the big company, you're stealing from the owner of that specific store.

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Look I got one

by Anonymous 1 year ago

You're going to have to be more specific than that.

Trolling, are you?

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Yes

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Will you still say that when your money is stolen from the bank and have nothing left?

by Anonymous 1 year ago

>as long as no one is hurt/fired because of it Taking someone's money is hurting that person.

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Yes you are nuts.

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Stealing is wrong, you don't want to work hard for something to get stolen
