They're also some of the friendliest out of the spiders I've tried picking up.

Yea they either calmy clime up your Fingers or they just jump away from you. Ive never had one jump me
by Anonymous2 years ago
Thats because theyre cannibals, they need to be friendly and they dont care about humans because humans love them.

I have immense fear and respect for jumping spiders and I am trying to build up the courage to hold one ðŸ˜

They sure are! I have numerous house spiders in corners and tucked away places in my house. I love the little guys and gals. Me and my 9 year old son make it a habit to look at all the spiders and bugs we find. Sometimes, he'll even give them names.
by Anonymous2 years ago
I have tons of house spiders too, i don't see how people can kill them.
Also thats so cute!
by Anonymous2 years ago
I agree! The rest of my family hates them and are so afraid they won't go near them. Seems a win win.
by Anonymous2 years ago
Atleast they're safe ahaha
by Anonymous2 years ago
They sure are. My favorites are the yellow and black garden spiders we get here in the US. They get fairly big too. They're great!
by Anonymous2 years ago
Jumping spiders for the win!
by Anonymous2 years ago

I love spiders! We have wolf spiders here, they get really big but are totally harmless and adorable 🥰
by Anonymous2 years ago
They also eat baby black widows, not to mention a godzillion of other pests. Such an asset for any garden!
by Anonymous2 years ago
Omgosh yes! Mosquitos and the like. They really are so beneficial 💜
by Anonymous2 years ago
We used to have a pink-toed one. It was so cute.
by Anonymous2 years ago
They are!! I don't understand how some people hate them.
by Anonymous2 years ago
They absolutely are
by Anonymous2 years ago
spiders are definitely better than insects
by Anonymous2 years ago
Not unpopular
by Anonymous2 years ago
Maybe to a someone with "web" in their name.
But I do think some are cute. Not all, and probably not most.

Peacock spiders and jumping are cute the rest are not
by Anonymous2 years ago
Some of them yes, kind of cute. Here in the US there are a lot of nasty ones, but a handful of cute(ish) harmless ones.
by Anonymous2 years ago
Some are cute but then you see a funnel web
by Anonymous2 years ago

Nah.
by Anonymous2 years ago
Just like other wildlife, I think spiders are cool and neat to observe, and that's about it.
The moment they come at me, or on me, or I find one in my personal space, sorry but you gotta go lol. If I can I'll trap it and let it outside. If I find one on my body or bed then it's dead, sorry :(
by Anonymous2 years ago
Jumping spiders only
by Anonymous2 years ago
Yes they're especially cute when they aren't in my house
by Anonymous2 years ago
Spiders are great, and they are usually more scared of you than you're of them.
I live next to a park so there are a lot of insects around that I find annoying. And then my spiders come and clean up.
I have one in every corner of the house, some have names.
by Anonymous2 years ago
I'm Australian, and spiders are cute to me!
by Anonymous2 years ago
I think they're cute too! Spiders usually peacefully go about their day when I'm around them.
Unlike wasps, who seem to have a thirst for blood. \^-\^
by Anonymous2 years ago
Millipedes are cute. Spiders though.. I have severe arachnophobia, those things are terrifying
by Anonymous2 years ago
Did you just say Australians fear spiders??
I'm from Australia and let me tell you, Australians have no fear at all.
