+153 Tons more people will own a telescope and get into astronomy when everything finally runs on clean energy and the skies clear up in cities. Lovely night skies everywhere. amirite?

The problem with telescopes in cities is more about light pollution than air pollution. You've got to turn off the lights, not clean up the air.

Or at leas t redirect the lights. We can light places properly without shooting so much out into space.

Are you implying clean energy will not be sustainable and will therefore cause blackouts, thus letting city people see stars once all the lights are off?

That's the most likely scenario.

Especially when that same clean energy will cause your power to go out constantly.

Except you still won't be able to see the stars because of all the satellite constellations :-/
