Though if that were the case, they would be a true hypocrite, as they were saying they favoured hypocrisy while not practicing it. Then wouldn't, would, wouldn't, etc. Reaching a paradox like that usually means the premise is faulty, so a hypocrite CAN favour hypocrisy openly, while remaining a hypocrite. All it takes is low criticality.
