I love getting socks! To be fair, not the bulk packs of all black or all white socks. Those are sad socks. A good pair of funky socks will make me smile a hundred times. Christmases, Birthdays, all good with some silly socks.

I like the basic bulk socks. I have massive feet and I wear right through them, so if somebody buys me socks they're usually nicer than the ones I buy, even if they're bulk.

Highly suggest getting some good guaranteed for life correctly sized socks (darn tough or smart wool for example). Darn tough in my opinion run a tad tight so keep in mind when sizing. Their warranty is always honored in my experience (had some that I bought for work that wore through). They sent me a gift card and I bought some thicker ones that have lasted years.
