The Core is a great movie and I won't hear any blasphemy against it.

I might regret asking, what what even is traumacore

It's nothing NSFW so I'll explain it to my best. It's an "aesthetic" about childhood trauma. You should research it. It's messed up on how people glorify it. Usually it is a picture of let's say a childrens room with a hello kitty jpeg and with "creepy" sayings like "kys" or something. If you feel uncomfortable with that stuff I wouldn't research it but it's nothing NSFW. It's just messed up

I think some of it is to express your pain or something idk

I do not speak for all traumatized people, but I feel like I can tell when it's ~aesthetic~ and when the person has actually experienced trauma. The former makes me feel uncomfortable and fetishized.

Yeah that's understandable.

Also have PTSD and I also feel like I can tell. Sometimes I feel like I'm being an asshole for "doubting" but other times I'm literally too offended by the bs coming out of their mouths to care.

I'm with you, it's messed up. As someone who actually had a traumatic childhood, it makes me uncomfortable

Looks like a normal form of expression. Not sure why you think folks with trauma wouldn't want to do this. People process things differently, yes?

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Yes you are right. I was sharing my opinion on it.

Not sure why folks with trauma would WANT to do this. I have PTSD and have never heard of this and when I looked it up, I have never felt more belittled, misunderstood, or disgusted in my life. This does NOT look like a normal or healthy form of expression or coping.
