Arm is for low power consumption

My M1 Pro runs **circles** around any PC or Intel-based Mac I've ever owned. I don't game on my computers, I work. Microsoft can join the ARM party whenever they like. Their efforts thus far have been utterly milquetoast. Don't underestimate how much people value 20 hour battery life out of a MacBook Pro, immediate wake from sleep, a housing that is cold to the touch after hours of use, and apps that launch on the first bounce. We have 4500 Macs in the enterprise environment. *Up from 0 ten years ago.* If you think the ability to play 30 year old DOS games is driving the market, you're on another planet. This has been the most exciting time for Macs since the Intel transition in 2006. I've rendered a 30 minute 4K YouTube video in 45 seconds. Takes over 15 minutes on my Core i7.

Yeah, that's what I want... an x86 based phone that's dead by 3pm so I don't have to read stupid takes like this.

thats a windows problem. not an x86 issue.

also , only x86 CPUs can play DOS games.
