+141 There should be a time limit on how many years can decide to report a late crime. amirite?

There is a time limit on when you can report crimes, though. It's called statute of limitations.

They should put these limitations in some sort of statute

I think it really depends on the crime and situation. If it's something similar to that 97 year old lady who was convicted of accessory to murder for being a secretary to an SS officer literally over 70 years later then yea that's definitely dumb But if it's something like a bill Cosby situation then I'd want him properly punished

I'd argue that the trial should still happen if nothing else than to possibly prove a fabrication, a returned guilty verdict however, should be taken in context come sentencing, there's no point in jailing the 97 year old woman, but proving her guilty has its merit.

Cosby is a piece of trash, but how the hell are they proving a crime like that over 40 years ago? It did get over turned. What evidence do you have?

The word of 60 women isn't enough for you?

Bitches lie all the time. I'd actually like proof

by Anonymous 1 year ago

I repeat. *Sixty* women. You think it's more likely *sixty* women are lying as opposed to *one* man? That's not misogynistic at all. And, FYI, witness testimony *is* proof. It's some of the most relied on proof in court.

its called a statute of limitations, so popular it is law.

yes yes of course, every victim should file charges immediately, especially if the crime happens when you're a kid. Because if they don't, "it takes the piss out of true events" and makes their event not true didn't happen shut up. Yes yes of course. Uh-huh.

i'm pretty sure there is

You mean a statute of limitations? That already exists
