The voters have decided that contextrip is right! Vote on the post to say if you agree or disagree.

I haven't seen it yet but…It's a childrens movie lol. Tbh I don't know of a lot of kids movies that are actually good. I'd say it comes down to how you interpret the movie rather than what's actually being presented.

@contextrip maybe, but some effort at least is appreciated.

Was there anything you DID like about the movie?

@Crazymotherfuker Was there anything you DID like about the movie?

yes, i will say the animation was pretty good, and i loved the old school style of the fight scenes.

Well that's good to hear, if it sucked to you at least it did it in style lol

the characters were flat and boring-

You found the main character being chased and hunted down by death itself flat and boring??!

You found anxiety attacks being treated seriously in media and not played off as a joke, or being told to "toughen up", just a lame silly cat movie??!

It's a great movie, not just for kids, but for everybody.

i found the character "death" flat and boring. i found the character puss flat and boring. the anxiety attacks were an interesting part of the movie, i will say, but did he not "toughen up" in the end anyway? still, they were painfully one dimensional

I meant the chihuahua character just sitting on chest till he relaxed and calmed down and said that it's okay to be scared, than telling him that he was being pathetic, like Puss's self past life's did in the crystal room.

that's true, i wish they leaned into the "therapy dog" storyline more, i found that the only time that the dog was at all tolerable as a character.

The whole point of the therapy dog storyline was that you were supposed to brush it off as nothing, or just the dog being stupid and naïve, only for it to become as very important later on.

As other's online have pointed out, this kid's movie did a character having an anxiety attack better than a Marvel movie made for a much older audience.

We might have to get physical with an opinion like dat
